
INGREDIENTS-
- 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
- 4 LARGE EGGS
- 1 CUP FLOUR
- 1/2 CUP COCOA
- 3/4 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
- A PINCH OF BAKING SODA
- 3/4 CUP OIL
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA ESSENCE
[NOTE- FOR A PLAIN CAKE, REMOVE COCOA AND ADD 1/2 CUP CORNFLOWER INSTEAD.]
RECIPE-
- SIEVE FLOUR, COCOA, BAKING POWDER AND BAKING SODA TOGETHER.
- BEAT SUGAR AND EGGS VERY WELL TOGETHER.
- ADD ESSENCE
- ADD OIL GRADUALLY BEATING MIXTURE LIGHTLY.
- FOLD IN FLOUR A LITTLE AT A TIME, WITH A WOODEN SPOON TILL ALL FLOUR IS MIXED UP.
- POUR INTO GREASED BAKING TIN AND BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREE CELSIUS FOR 25 MINUTES.
- LET IT COOL FOR 5-10 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING FROM THE TIN.
- SERVE IT
